The Old Dinning Table....

Today, I decided to put up a shot of the oldest thing I could spot! On my way to work and back nothing old crossed my eyes.

Tired, I entered my house where I saw our 87 years old dinning table. Finally something old!!! . It is hand crafted solid Sheesham Wood (Rosewood) with Cane to adorn the seats.

It was built by my great grandfather (in 1923), upon his migration to Pakistan from India. In 1970 it was shifted here by my grand father. The house is big, containing 15 bed-rooms.

However, previously there were two such tables attached together. But we use only one with 8 chairs.The only repair it has undergone is polishing, now and then. This table has hosted many parties and birthday celebrations. I can't even count how many !:)
