Snowy Egret
I swung by the park in the center of town this morning to see if there was any activity there. There was not a lot going on; most of the resident birds were draped in the scrub oaks like enormous magnolia blossoms. Only decent angle would have been right into the sun,, so I left that alone. I ended up with a couple of shots of my pal the Snowy Egret that I thought good enough to blip; this one, which I really like, and the one above which does show how hot it is here; even the birds are panting!
