Beaching with The Puggies

We had more of a relaxing day today although I was up early for a meeting, but after a late breakfast we set off for a stroll out to Portobello to check out the 'Puggies on the Beach'.

Whimsical and jokey but not a lot of power behind it-maybe we should to go back at dusk and watch them light up. That would be fun.

On the way back I found a phone, so being the good citizen that I am I called one of the numbers, left a message to ask the person to contact us so we will return it.

We got a call this afternoon from someone, in a very plummy voice asking us if we could just pop up to the West End and meet the owner. Eh!......no! They haven't found the time to pick it up.

Now am I being stupid or something, but if it was me............sorry I'll not have a rantette.


Back for a snooze then time to get dinner on the go.

The lady, who was very nice, came around at 8 oclock clutching a box of biscuits. Very nice too.
