When's The Next Stage Do In?

At lunch today I walked over to the Wells Fargo Bank building in downtown Los Angeles. They have a small Wells Fargo museum there and i took a quick look around. This is an original stage couch from the 1800's. These were what brought the mail, took passengers through the "Wild West" and often have the cash box full of gold. There would be two men on top, the driver and a armed security guard. We would carry a shotgun to protect the Stage. This is where the term "Riding Shotgun" comes from.
