What Bank Holiday?

In the normal course of events Schull should be buzzing, today was a Bank Holiday and the start of Calves Week. Sailors from all over the country descend on us for a week of regattas and drinking. The pubs overflow into the Main St., special events are put on and everyone generally has a great time.

Not this year, so far the first two days have been a wash out, not a breath of wind, lots of fog and it is actually quite cool. There was even space on the street for this delightful little car to park.
