To answer brickmaker's question - it's not really a question, but more of a statement.

1. Is the number of bags of garbage this commercial property is alloted per week.
1. Plus 1, is the number of men it really takes to clear the neighbourhood's garbage.
1. Minus 1, is the number of garbage bags city workers have taken off our hands in the past ~2 months.

The sign needs to come with fine print: *Unless City of Vancouver Sanitation Service Workers are ON STRIKE. Then the '1' should be read as '0'.
