Kite Season

It's kite-flying season in Brasil. You'd be suprised how many kite-related deaths there are over there. Sometimes it's from absent minding children following their kite avidly into the middle of rush-hour traffic. Other times it's motorcyclists getting themselve caught on stray kite strings at high speeds. These are no ordinary strings though. The purpose of flying the kites is to be able to cut down somebody else's kite. To achieve this glass is crushed up, mixed with glue and coated onto the strings. Hence the element of danger to passing cyclists. Fascinating to watch the kites fly though.
