Wax-eye Bird

Dull cloudy day today and I've been struggling to get a decent shot with the poor light and adjusting to the new camera.

This is the best for today and I thought it was quite cute. The little Wax-eye all puffed up against the cold and sitting quite nicely in my rhodendron tree. This tree has big bright red blooms in spring, theres lots of buds coming on so I expect a great display - providing the weather plays its part, no snow in September!

Home day after heading up to the shops to get a few errands done. Tea to cook now - Roast Pork tonight.

Daughter E has put me back on track with the almighty challenge - no flowers!
I'll be back tomorrow - hopefully with a better quality shot :)
