The Worst Picture on Blipfoto

The evening was shaping up to be a fine one for a village silhouette against the setting sun. As it turned out, the rain fell heavily where I'd parked the car, so I had to rely on taking the picture through the windscreen, timing the shot just after a sweep of the wiper blades.

This is the result, full of noise and out of focus, a shot worthy of discarding. So I stripped it back to black and white and enhanced the foreground slightly.

I actually quite like it - I doubt there's a worse picture on Blipfoto. The church is in a place called Dedham, on the River Stour in Essex.
