Arthurs Seat Sunset Pano
It was sodding cold up on the top of Blackford Hill tonight, welcome to summer in Scotland! There was however a really weird light above Arthurs Seat, like the sunset had moved. The sun went down around Costorphine Hill area from up here so no idea how it lit up the sky over this side, but it did and a little bit of HDR brings it out nicely.
This is a 4 vertical shot panorama shot at 70mm with a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 EX HSM lens from the trig point on Blackford Hill. There's a shed load of work to do on this though. With the rubbish light I had to bump the ISO up as I never took the tripod and ISO400 for single shot HDR conversions is not good. It needs redone splitting the exposures on the single shots in Lightoom and the HDR done again, would seriously reduce the noise in the shot. But that would take ages and I've had enough for tonight!
