Suits you sir

This is me wearing a wetsuit for the first time in my life - and, boy, did I need it!

We took part in our first sailing lessons at the Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy and all I can say is... it's not as easy as it looks.

The tricky bit for newcomers to the sport is turning the boat - tacking or gybing.

To cut a long story short, we ended up capsizing no fewer than four times.

But the wetsuits are great - keeping you warm when you end up being thrown unceremoniously into the sea.

And I think that by the end of the day we had started to improve. We'll find out tomorrow whether that is just blind optimism.
