The Magnificent Seven update

Six of the seven have reached a weight that has enabled us to put them into a pre-release pen. This is such a happy time for us because we have apparently beaten the odds and kept all seven alive. The last one to go out is hopefully only a few days away from joining her brothers and sisters.

We had a surprise last week whilst cleaning out one of the fully grown females Eyeleen. She had given birth during the night, so as soon as we saw the baby we stopped cleaning, put food and water in and left her alone as much as we could.

At last count we have 34 little ones to look after.
