Metadata: the heart of IT

As I was leaving a meeting this afternoon I passed this and thought " My god my job has finally become relevant!".

This is the sign on a photography and film exhibition about metadata.

Metadata is very important but known by many to be very boring - however I can't wait to go to the exhibition. And at least it made me do a blip; the first in a long, long time.
