Two sides of one city

Accra, Ghana

The lighthouse is one of the few of Accra's sights of interests. But the contrast with the other side of the city is striking. Right next door are the slums of the town, with people washing and drinking from filthy water and living in garbage. Ghana may be one of Africa's 'best performing' countries, but in some ways it still has a long way to go.
