We had quiet day today. A quick trip to the market in Ambert was cut short by torrential rain and the afternoon was spent visiting a small soap making enterprise with soaps in a myriad of colours arranged along the counter top. The smell was intoxicating and we all chose a soap each. Rowan chose jasmine, Murron raspberry, Sam cinnamon and I chose lilac. Nick's mum kindly gifted them to us and we will now waft gently through the rest of our time away smelling softly of summer.
