Abandoned mill parts

Today we went to visit a local working mill. I dared to climb to the second storey and inspect the workings, but then chickened out and went outside to take pictures. My sister chatted to the miller about how hard it is to make a living from REAL products rather than mass manufactured, chemically-loaded ones. The mill was run by a pair of lovely characters - mother and son, who have a passion for their work and made us feel very welcome. It was a genuinely facinating experience.
