A rugby still life
Daft one this, and a bit of a run down memory lane.
I used to play quite a bit of Rugby, until that was the French injured me while I was playing in an international 7's tournament in Paris. That was way back in 1990. I even managed as the Captain to shake hands with Jacques Chirac when he was the then Major of Paris.
I was hospitalised for a wee while, had broken two vertebrae and fractured my sternum. I know - Serves me right for playing rugby.
Anyway, as I say, a run down memory lane.
The Ulster ball is nothing to do with that event, but is one of my 14 odd rugby balls. The top was my University top, and the Guinness.....my favourite drink, always associated with a successful rugby tour.
