Land

I got some birthday money of my In-laws (cheers guys) and I thought... I need another photobook. I had been recommended Land by Fay Godwin and went about looking for a copy, I eventually found a copy from the 80's in NY and ordered it. It arrived today.

On an initial thumb through I was gobsmacked by the quality of the print and especially of her work. If I was ever needing a shot in the arm then this book has given me it, the bizarre thing is though that looking at her work I've realised I've been walking up this path for a while. Her monos of British (and especially the Scottish) landscape are incredible. I've got an idea of the direction I'm going in now.

The book is second hand, who gets rid of a book like this?
