Ladies Night Out

At North Chagrin Reservation the blip pickings were slim this evening, and only the female mallards and wood ducks put in an appearance. There were plenty of geese, but I can't tell a male goose from a female, so they could have been anything. I have to admit that it was all kind of boring...not too much diversity, that's for sure. The only bird that stood out from the rest was the female mallard in the picture. She had claimed the highest rock next to the pond, and there she stood, surveying her territory.

My computer is once again running almost normally, although it's too soon to say if this new normal will be permanent or not. I ran Spybot Search and Destroy yesterday, starting at 4 pm and had to leave it running all night. I don't know when it finished up, but it said it had found, and subsequently cleaned up, 52 problems, leaving one that they couldn't correct. Then I ran it again, and it didn't find any of the bad guys. This evening I did a scan with yet another program, which claimed to find and eradicate hundreds of problems. Who knew? Can I trust these programs? Do they tell the truth? Will the computer continue to run almost normally? Who knows! Keep your fingers crossed please.
