Not there any more

I went looking for The Button Queen on Marlebone Lane today. A delicious shop selling buttons of every sort and age, including sets on faded cards that look as though they have sat 50 years in a habberdashers window. I needed very special buttons for the cardigan I'm knitting from a vintage pattern. But this is where the shop was when I was last there.

Relieved, I found it had moved further up the road. But, not only does it keep old fashioned buttons, it keeps old fashioned hours too and was closed at 5pm.
