Lamp

Today was a big day for decisions. We headed for Bristol again to view another flat - arriving late thanks to the vagaries of the rail network.

The flat, very close to the city centre, was surprisingly good. I say 'surprisingly' because the area in which it is located is a bit.... mixed, shall we say. And the lettings agent had had problems obtaining access from the current tenant.

But it was very modern with a decent amount of space, well equipped and about as conveniently located as you could get for both our jobs plus city centre shops and entertainment.

And... we said yes! After a quick trip to the bank machine to withdraw rather a lot of readies we were back with the agent completing forms and planning our new, dual lifestyle.

Anyway, the area boasts some character, as shown in the photo of one of the cobbled local streets with its own old-fashioned lamp.
