I see some leaves just ripe for rustling through.

Get 'em before they go soggy.

Comedy 'citizen-journalist' moment on the BBC website earlier. At the foot of the report about the great chicken escape, they had their usual plea (slightly paraphrased):

"Are you in the area? Send us your pics and we'll publish them here without paying you a penny, you mug. It'll save us sending a crew."

A couple of hours later, this had strangely disappeared, and the text of the story now reads:

"Police had appealed to motorists on the north bound carriageway not to slow down to watch the recovery operation and to refrain from taking photographs while driving.

The police added that they would like to remind drivers that using a mobile phone while driving is illegal. "
