Sunflower....

Since the Lilies have pretty much collapsed now I thought I'd grab some Sunflowers on the way home tonight.

This is just a quick one - I prefer to do these in natural light but it's getting just a bit dim now so the background isn't exactly white but hey - there's the rest of the weekend yet to play.

Added a generous dollop of Lucisart Whyeth to the leaves and a smaller dollop to the petals. Yellow and Whyeth really don't go well together - you end up with grey patches if you're too heavy handed.
