Non-Essential Facial Hair
With the heat and humidity here at the moment, any facial hair is non-essential. These are the lengths I go to for a blip though. A weeks worth of beard growth. Late last night after getting home from work, I nearly abandoned the whole project in favour of a shave. I was hot, sweaty and facially itchy. A few glasses of cheap wine before bed sorted that out and I managed to last till this morning. I couldn't have lasted much longer without shaving though.
The weather is hot and humid again today.
It is a bit unnerving to see close-up how much salt and pepper there is in my facial hair. I have always wondered why some of my beard is blonde, some red and most brown like my hair. Throw in some grey and white and there is quite a mix.
For this photo I tried to do a half shave. It didn't work. Luckily I had a fall back unshaven and then did a full shaven and combined the two with a bit of Photoshop trickery because I didn't get the angles right.
This week of blips have been fun. No pressure.
Here are few other beards:
wingpig (who has quite a lot of blips with the "beard" tag.
little pitbull
and who could forget this one from Goodbye.
