These crossroads....

.... are beside the farm where my father was born.

My father was quite small, about 5 feet 5 inches tall.

He said this was because he had 3 brothers who were all older than
him so he always got their old clothes and never anything new.

Then, when he was 12, his Auntie Bella got him a new suit.

He loved it so much that he decided to stop growing so that the suit
would always fit him.

He said he married my mother in that suit.

He said that 5 feet 5 inches was big for a 12 year old boy.

He said that if it hadn't been for that suit he would have been 7 feet
and 7 inches when he grew up....
