Ghosts at the Rathhaus, Aachen

This is what happens when someone who hasn't got a clue about nighttime photography (because she was too lazy to read up on it) fumbles around with camera controls in the dark without her glasses. I'm still trying to work out white balance. Please don't tell me there's dark balance too. Oh well. It's a weird picture, but I like it, especially large.

T and I were in Aachen for an overnight visit. We met up with a friend who's a master knife maker. This is what the Rathaus (town hall) looked like late in the evening, as we made our way to our favourite ice cream place after a delicious Turkish meal.
