Ice Cream

I'm actually not sure how Aidan feels about ice cream, he eats a little bit but then doesn't want anymore. Maybe it gives him 'brain freeze'!

This morning I Skyped with my friend. It's lovely to be able to talk and see each other. I think we've both got a lot on our minds at the moment so it's good to be able to discuss things even although we can't actually be in the same place. She's been away 11 weeks already, it has gone very quickly but it's still a long wait till she will be back in the UK again for a visit.

We nipped to Sainsburys to get a few things and pick up Aidan's prescription. Then we went to Costa! A Costa Coffee opened about 5 minutes away from the house and we feel drawn there at the weekends. Up until the last few weeks there have basically been no sit-in restaurants/coffee shops close to where we live so it's very exciting! A Frankie & Benny's opened too but we have yet to go there.

Mr Mono fitted the first of the stair gates today. I think this is just in time as Aidan has become a real mover this past week. He's not crawling yet but can get across the room with some worm like wriggling.
