Blue Angels

No grandchildren in sight today. It's Seafair weekend in Seattle and it's raining.(not untypical) But the Blue Angels flew anyway - below the low cloud cover. I stood on my roof deck for 40 minutes (in the rain..) waiting for a shot. they are so fast. and so noisy. But it's kind of a thrill anyway, to watch them and imagine what skill and daring they represent.
