Spent another afternoon on the lake; this is Eleanor Island, which is a bird sanctuary in Lake Muskoka. The rock is granite, and there are many bare trees, but according to Environment Canada, the island is capable of supporting up to 30 Great Blue Heron pairs, 200 Herring Gull pairs and 300 Ring-billed Gull pairs.
