British Rail Egg
Trip to the National Rail Museum in York today, or as it turned out, the train fanatics winking suite.
I ask you, 70 year old men pushing & shoving you out of the way to examine the intricate working parts of a steaming engine. Gawd the wifes looked bored!!
Anyway, not sure what British Rail were doing when they designed this bin for trains. Their egg sandwiches had a bit of a reputation in the 70's, so what better way to bin them than into a neat & tidy looking egg. Genius.
