The path less taken

I got home in the afternoon after being away for 2 weeks....oh so nice to get home :) I had an amazing trip - the biking was fantastic. It does something good for me to wake up day after day (only 7 days :) and just bike and bike. It just makes me feel good - if a little tired :) Time in Berlin with friends was also great. Berlin is not beatutiful in the same way as the southern European Mediterranian cities...but it has an energy that is hard to beat.

And then it is good to come home. After unpacking I biked out to the valley not far from where I lived and sat in the weeds near a creek and took photos for about an hour. If the farmer who owns the property was watching me with his binoculars, he probably thought I was nuts :)

I got this shot just as I was leaving, the light was gorgeous and I liked how there was just the implication of a path. Not a very dynamic photo but something about it struck me.

I have to catch up here in Blipland....both my own photos from my trip need to be uploaded and I look forward to seeing what you have all been up to :)
