Bamboo

Disaster struck yesterday. Left the house in a bit of a rush in the morning, headed to brunch and then across to Discovery Bay to go to a BBQ but when I got there realised that I'd forgotten my camera... Discovery Bay is a ferry ride away so I decided I'd just have to take Saturday's blip when I got home in the evening. BUT the BBQ went on late and before I knew it, it was 11... I raced home but then it started to rain torrentially and the taxi queue was huge, I eventually got home at exactly midnight... too late. So my first break in consecutive blipping. Very, very disappointing but I will just have to try my best not to break again - I will be checking for my camera everyday before I leave the house from now on!

So today, little lie-in, met the girls and went for a walk up to the Peak, walked down again and then went for lunch which turned into a marathon chat session, just enough time for a quick shower and then off to the cinema to see Despicable me which was very sweet.

Monday again tomorrow - ugh!
