Experimental confusion

I was quite taken with the potential of these wooden posts for a decent photo and according to my husband, my focussed experimentation with different exposures caused some confusion with fellow tourists, who were bobbing their heads up and down in an attempt to figure out what on earth it was I was taking a photo of!
