Jaime taking a break

Portobello Road is changing. No longer the soul territory of market traders and small independent shops, it is being taken over by chain clothing shops and high end designer retailers. Jaime is one of the small shopkeepers working around the bottom of the antiques market.

I love the curve of the road down from Westbourne Grove to Elgin Cresent.

Further up, by Westbourne Grove I met Fanny, a Norwegian student, over here on a Summer School.
