Lazy Sunday!

After a late, tiring night after the climb to the top of the hill, today was a much more peaceful and relaxing day.

Some women have a thing for bags, some for shoes, with me its plants :-) I had woken yesterday with a want, no a need, for some chrysanthemums, so after a trip round St Andrews ( I will not mention the parking ticket and the temporary changes to parking arrangements ) we popped off to the garden centre.

Sadly there were no chrysanthemums but I DID manange to find another 10 plants (most of them perennials) which I simply had to have. Last night I placed them in their spots and today they were planted. More flowers and more colour in the garden - perfect!

This verbena is not one of yeterdays purchases, I think it was as a result of my July fix! Its tall leggy with these beautiful two toned flowers. Perfect!

I wonder if there is a helpline for plant addicts??
