Sunday by the canal!

Today hubby woke me at 9.10am and asked if we were going to church. I said yes but the service didn't start till 10am. A minute later I sat bolt upright to announce I was on welcome duties. So I rushed into the shower and go down to the church by 9.32 am only 2 mins late.... not bad!

After church we went for a walk and ate lunch by the canal (coffee first as I had no time for b'fast, not even a coffee). It was really nice and reminded me of my childhood holidays!

The afternoon, grazed by and the evening service went well. I and a friend are running a series on the Prodigal friendly church using a Jeff Lucas DVD. There was plenty of folks who turned up and a good buzz of discussion.
