Black and White Hoverfly Scaeva pyrastri

Another garden Blip today.

Larger than most Hoverflies and not nearly as numerous as some of the yellow and black types. I have been trying to get a decent capture of this species of hoverfly for several days (it seems a little more "flighty" than others).
