Curecanti Creek Colorado

Todays Jeep ride again provided by my kind neighbor Larry took us up a forest road along Curecanti Creek just west of us. I've not been on this road before and found some very interesting scenery with peak shaped formations created by steam rising in volcanic times. One striking formation looked very curious unlike a termite mound 20 feet or so tall. A couple of hardy campers were staying along side the stream in their RV's as tenters may encounter mountain lions in this country.
