Back in town

Roz and I seem to have a knack of timing holidays to the back of beyond so that they end just in time to give us our first taste of festival chaos. We always used to get home from Kinlochbervie, where you see a handful of cars a day in time to be stuck in massive traffic jams and throngs of people.

We've managed to do the same with Donegal. Still there's always a buzz in town and the festival generally throws up great blippertunities.

I was in town for a bit then met MAddy and Roz at which point we headed out to see friends Chris and Lizzie in East Lothian. It was great to see them and their house has come on leaps and bounds since we were last there and they now have a proper upstairs rather than just a floored area you can reach via a ladder. It looks amazing and all their hard work has clearly paid off.

Dinner was good too.
