Spider Supper

Millions of these little flees seemed to hatch tonight. Their one and only goal in life, as far as I can remember from my biology, is to procreate (not that we are much different).

It seemed sad that so many ended up on this spider's web (there were hundreds) when they probably only had one day to get it together. How annoying must it be to get stuck in those sticky threads and be able to see the lady/man of your dreams just a few millimetres from you. You only had a day to chat her/him up and get her/him into bed, only to get stuck on a tiny gummy thread and eaten by an eight-legged carnivore from hell....?
