Grey skies
It's been a miserable couple of days in Vancouver. I overheard
someone the other day saying that they only get 2 weeks of sunny
weather a year, I think we may have caught the tail end of it. Hey,
we're from Scotland, it'll be fine... at least Vancouver gets 2 weeks.
Went to the library today. We only have one computer between us, so if Emma has a book to read I get more time on the computer. And the library is much cheaper than a book shop. You'd think authors would be annoyed with libraries. I get to read their book for free. I'm sure the music industry would have something to say about if there were places loaning out the latest Shakira album for a couple of weeks.
I lived in Aberdeen for 3 years and never once had a library card. I've lived in Vancouver for a week and have one... but honestly, I'll never borrow a book, it's just so I can use their wifi while Emma browses the fiction section.
This photo was taken as it started to brighten up. These cruise ships
arrive and depart every day, most of them heading up to Alaska. Both of us would love to do that trip. That'll be very much job dependant.
May just have to borrow a book about Alaska instead...
