Just Motorin' Along

Day #2 of our Road Trip:

We spent the day driving, driving, and more driving...my husband is such a trooper. We did have time to stop and check out the "Sundial Bridge" in Northern CA. The kids had a great time running around and checking out the amazing architecture of the bridge. It really is a work of art.

Last night we were able to have dinner and enjoy a fun evening with my sister and her family, and some close friends of hers. She then showed up at the campsite this morning to drop off pastries from the local bakery...a perfect start to the trip.

While driving today, my daughter learned how fun it is to stick her foot out the window while driving down the freeway. But, the highlight of the day was definitely the giggles we heard from the backseat as my daughter gave the "toot your horn" sign to every semi truck we passed. Oh...what memories from childhood it brought back.
