'For The Love of My Windows'

I intending to take some pictures showing the beauty of my sash windows...

These windows have been protecting our house from the harsh Scottish weather for over70 years. On wednesday they are being replaced by double glazed boring windows.

I feel guilty as though I'm betraying the house. We can't afford to have the windows brought back to their original state and last year the cold was so bad the wind was pretty much blowing through the living room windows. We have to replace them.

I realised how bogging my windows are too now that I'm taking fixtures off and found this fat, horrid fly in the process..
