Wooden Boat

The wooden boat festival was being held at Bayview, Idaho marina on Lake Pend Oreille. About ten boats that call the lake home were on display, from a 53' cabin cruiser in the process of being refinished, to this fully restored 18' runabout.

The lighting was less than ideal, but I liked the way the bow lines of this immaculately finished craft curved through the frame and contrasted with the dark lake water. I planned to return later in the day to get photos with the light in a better position, but spent too much time enjoying the sunny weather at the helm of more modern watercraft.
