In Down House greenhouse

A work colleague and I spent a whole day researching our new project with a visit to Down House, the home of Charles Darwin. It was a bit like a treasure hunt for us, and we came away with lots of gems. It astounded me that this place is close to where I live, and easy to get to. I'll return - the walking around Downe looked really good.

This blip was taken in Darwin's greenhouse, where I also snapped an orchid. In an adjacent building, there were bees. The garden of Down House was filled with flowers, schrubs, vegetables, spiders and fungi.
