From Dusk to Dawn
The day fades into dusk, which fades into night, which fades into dawn, only to fade back into day again. We can say that there will be a day when the sun does not rise, that the dusk we saw yesterday was the last time the sun will set before our eyes, and the night will consume and be all we know. We can say that the moon will become the new sun and the light of day will be nothing more than the light of night. We can spread the word of Armageddon and cower in fear of the idea of nothingness; we could worry until the last day comes where we will know no more. Or we can live in the time we have right now; dispose of the nonsense that weighs you down, worry no longer about the world, and if the sun will rise in the morning or not. Live for now, live for this sunset, live for tomorrow, learn from yesterday, carry on today.
And the man and his explorers walked together from dawn till dusk when they stopped and stared up at the sky for the first time in what felt like a million years. The right hand man turned to the leader and said, "I know now; why I am fighting, where I am going, where I have come from. It is for life I am fighting, I am going where the path takes me, and I have come from the past to make a future." The leader looked back at his dear friend, nodded with a warm smile and simply said, "You have come a long way, however, there is still more to come."
