Enjoying the trip

We finally made it to Chicago...5 hours behind schedule, which gave us the option to stay over in Chicago for 2 nights for me (1 night for my son). Amtrak paid the bill for one night and we were indeed happy to get to our hotel this night after almost 50 hours on the train and sleeping in coach seats! This was the view from our hotel room.
