Drawing a Blanc

The new manager of the French national football team, Laurent Blanc, in Oslo for his first game in charge of Les Bleus, a friendly against Norway. I checked his horoscope and the signs boded well for his future.

The old wing of the Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica in the background was a former sanatorium dating back to 1894, built in the "dragon style" popular at the time. The hotel now has plenty of modern extensions, and it's right next to the Holmenkollen ski jump which is being extensively upgraded for the World Cup event in 2011. I hope to get to that.
