roads

This is Master Pink playing with an original mummy drawn road map! It started as an old picture he found yesterday when I was tidying up his art and craft drawers of some traffic lights I had once done for him. The traffic light picture was "expanded" yesterday to include a railway crossing, and pedestrian crossing. By the end of the day though, Master Pink's imagination had outgrown a sheet of A4, so I promised him we'd draw a bigger one tomorrow. Well that was today, so as promised a new road layout was drawn, this time including a roundabout and some junctions. With his attention to detail (no idea where he gets that from ;) )each set of traffic lights had a button to push for the pedestrian crossing and bumpy bits on the pavement at Zebra crossings. Throughut the day the map had added extras, a railway line, with gates, and lights, and a field of spaghetti that was growing.

(we also had a trip to the library which wasn't as blissful as Dotty's , and a couple of trips to the timeout step - but that's another story - one I'm trying to forget about!)
