Mountain Zebra Park

We arrived late yesterday afternoon at the Mountain Zebra Park and we're blown away again by the views. This time we have a self catering cottage which makes things a little easier.

First on our list for the day was to go for an early morning game drive and then afterwards head to Craddock to do a little shopping for a Braii this evening before heading out on an evening game drive put on by the park.

Our first game drive was great we saw a lot of animals, Mountain Zebra, Springbok, Gemsbok, Wilderbeast, Baboons and more... I was completely on cloud nine! We were able to do the drive in our hire car and I have to say even for a 1.4 petrol Toyota Corolla it didn't do too badly!

Shopping in Craddock was an experience and we found a nice little coffee shop to have a drink and a snack.

Then it was R's chance to show off his Braii-ing skills and what a fantastic meal it was!

Although the days were nice and warm the evenings were cool and the game drive was very good we were very lucky to see Cheetahs and an Ardvark as well as a porcupine but we got very cold and were glad to get back to the cottage to have a warm drink and go to bed with hot bots!
